This policy explains what information Orbit Property Portal (operated by Orbit Advisory & Technology) collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. We've written it in plain language so property owners, managers, and tenants can understand it.
1. Who we are
Orbit Property Portal is a property-management platform built by Orbit Advisory & Technology. When you sign up, you create an organization that owns the records you add — properties, units, tenants, leases, rent records, receipts, and maintenance tickets.
2. Information we collect
Account information: name, email, organization name, role, and authentication credentials.
Portfolio data you enter: property addresses, unit details, tenant contact information, lease terms, payment amounts, and maintenance descriptions and photos.
Usage information: pages visited, features used, and basic device/browser data for security and performance.
3. How we use information
To operate the service: render your dashboard, generate receipts, compute risk scores, and export reports.
To secure the service: detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce role-based access controls.
To support you: respond to questions and improve features based on aggregated usage signals.
4. Data isolation and security
Each organization's data is isolated using row-level security. Members of your organization only see records that belong to your organization. We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and limit administrative access to authorized personnel.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email) under contract, and when required by law. AI features (such as rent risk scoring and payment parsing) send only the minimum data necessary to perform the request.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings. If you delete your organization, we remove your records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
